Where Am I Now?
After 18 years of providing computer consulting, training and speaking, I fell into a "real" job (managing a dental specialist practice). So, I had to give up my business in 2007. However, I left my websites up (although stagnant) since I never gave up hope of some day getting back into training and writing. I recently decided it was time to do something with them and realized I have a lot of really good information here. And, most of it is still relevant. I guess it's time for me to get back into writing.
So, I'm updating a few things and adding some other content. I've been wanting to experiment with blogs forever, so I'm finally giving it a go. You'll find Tricia's Blog is my current effort. I'll keep the tips, tricks, treats, and other material online and hopefully add to that as well.
One challenge I've had recently is getting treatment for breast cancer (not in my lymph nodes). I'm sure I'll have some thoughts on what I learned through that process.
I still get occasional calls from people I've trained or helped and am happy to continue doing that. So, if you have a question, please feel free to contact me. And, since I have that real job, I can help for free now!
When I do get back into some training and speaking, I'll use the Computer Chef branding so I'm leaving that website as is for now (with minor updates). Cooking is still my favorite hobby and in our new house I have a huge kitchen in which to play!
By the way, if you ever need a root canal, and you're able to come to Durham, NC, Deb Conner, DDS, MS is the endodontist whose practice I manage.
